Our Team

Jeremy grew up on his family farm in Western Oklahoma. 

After graduating from high school, he attended Oklahoma Baptist University. While at OBU in 1999, Jeremy was called to Eastwood as the bi-vocational youth pastor. Shortly after graduation, he became the full-time youth pastor in May of 2000.

Then, in 2007, Jeremy was called to be Eastwood’s senior pastor. 

Later that year, he began working on his MDiv from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, completing his degree in 2013. Five years later, Jeremy began working on his PhD in Old Testament studies from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. 

Jeremy will have been married to his wife, Vanessa, for 20 years in December of 2024. They have two boys, Johnny and Shawn. They love to travel as a family, whether on a beach vacation or to another country on mission, to meet new people and experience different cultures. They also have a goal to visit every Major League Baseball field before the boys graduate from high school.
